About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Lead to join our team. The UAT Lead will serve as the critical link between Business and Digital Technology, ensuring that our software solutions meet business requirements and are ready for deployment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to prepare and execute comprehensive business testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UAT Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement UAT strategies, plans, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define UAT scope and objectives.
  • Ensure all UAT activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between business users and IT teams.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on UAT progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

Defect Management:

  • Track and manage defects identified during UAT.
  • Work with IT teams to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all defects are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a UAT business leads, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct enablement sessions to enhance the team's testing skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve UAT processes and methodologies.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading UAT efforts for complex software projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using analysis tools and testing software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques.
